The project is located in the fourth basement of a mall in the city of Santiago. The lack of spaces aimed at cultural events using the urban first floor that generates income obliged the election of this level for the siting.
The space used for these purposes was a 50 by 12 base meters per 8 meters height parallelepiped.
The work was done in only one tier with 250 seats that determines two levels: the first one where the foyer, toilets and director room are located, besides a cafeteria; and the lower level, where the stage is. Under the tier of seats are located the changing and actors rooms and one 200 square meters rehearsal room.
The room was worked depending on a broken sheet that from the stage as far as the director room folds, creating the acoustic system and strengthening the spaces linearity.
Both the ceiling as the lateral walls were recovered with sheathing of lines of Bolivian cedar, among which lighting was integrated, guided by incandescent lines randomly placed in order to disrupt the monotony of the cedar.
